Notice for TCM and Acupuncture Courses

With the regulation of the TCM profession in Ontario at the corner, and the employment of recognised standards in most states in the U. S. and British Columbia, our Society finds that, part of our members are still unable to meet such standards. Furthermore, we
Recently received letters from a few insurance companies which emphasized that some of our members actually did not have sufficient training. Therefore they specified that they would not honour the coverage to those members’ services. Owing to these reasons and the realisation that, one can improve itself through education, our College sets forth to start, the third time in a role, by offering a training program to our society members in the near future. We appoint very experienced and qualified TCM professionals to be our instructors. Details are as follow:
1/ There are English oriented and Chinese oriented classes.
Total time for the program is 450 hours. Courses included: TCM Fundamentals(50), Diagnostics(50), Herbs theory(45), Prescription Application(45), Internal Dermatology(60), Gynaecology(30), External Dermatology(30), Paediatrics(40) and Acupuncture(100).
2/ Society members can enrol all or part of the program.
3/ Only completion of the whole program will be given graduation certificate.
4/ Tuition for society members is $ 4,000.00 for the complete program, remittable by
instalments within 3 months immediately after the program started, and for
An individual course, tuition is $ 10.00/hour.
5/ The program is proposed to start on Apr. 6, 2006, every Tuesday and Thursday
at 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The actual schedule will be posted later.
6/ Classroom: Chinese Version will be held at: 4168 Finch AVE. E. Scarborough.
English Version will be held in our Society head office in China-town.
