2015 New Year Greeting and Membership Renewal Notice
The Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture was founded in April 1994 with the goal to promote the legislation of TCM and Acupuncture. Through the effort of several generations¡¯ endeavor and actively striving for regulating TCM and acupuncture in Ontario, since April last year, 90% of our members have been successfully registered with the College of TCMP and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Their services are presently recognized by the government and insurance companies. In 2014, CSCMA in conjunction with TCMP and Acupuncture groups of five provinces has secured the federal HST exemption on Acupuncture treatment. In August this year, CSCMA held the 2014 International Forum of Chinese-Canadian Traditional Medicine. On the same event, CSCMA also celebrated its 20th Anniversary. The New Year is coming soon and we would like to remind you to renew your membership now and no later than March 31, 2015, for the sake of maintaining the normal operation of the association. The membership fee for 2015 is $100.00. In order to safeguard the dignity of the Association and the seriousness of the registration, the Board has decided that a late payment charge will be applied after the due date.
