Academic Paper Submission


Congress Theme:

Opportunities and Development of Traditional Medicine in the New Era



Possible sub-themes include and not limited to:
  • Immune Diseases
  • Cardio-cerebral-vascular diseases
  • Treatment of tumors and AIDS
  • Research and Testing on the theory of
  • Research findings on muscular skeletal trauma
  • Legislation and practice standardization process of TCM
  • Tui-na, Qi-kong, psychotherapy, music therapy and integrated therapy
  • Chinese medicine concept in esthetics, slimming and wellness
  • The use of Chinese medicine on the upsurge of communicable diseases such as Avian flu and SARS, recent research findings and development
  • Research and development of Chinese medicine and natural products
Academic Paper Submission:
  • Academic papers in English, Chinese, French and Japanese accepted. The paper shall be within 3000 words attached with a 400 word abstract. Non-English papers shall be submitted with an English translation.
  • Submission of paper: MS PowerPoint presentation and related material should be e-mailed to the congress secretariat at congress@tcmcanada.org; or mailed to the Secretary Committee at the address above for those in the form of CD or mini-disc.
  • Deadline for submissions shall be July 30, 2006.
  • The Congress shall charge $100 USD for publishing the paper. Additional $60USD shall be necessary for English translation of the paper without an English version. The Organizing Committee reserves the right for the final editing of the paper. Non-compliance should be stated in your submission.

Paper presentation shall be in plenary or concurrent session. Reporting time shall be 15 min. follow by 5 min questioning time. The Congress venue shall provide audio visual equipment.
